Hotel reservations

  • The Hilton is offering a per diem rate of $128 exclusive of taxes. The room block cut-off date has passed, however a few rooms may still be available online.

  • Please book via the NASA CPEX 2023 group reservation page.

  • Please contact Lynn Kennedy at ESPO if you need help booking a late reservation.

  • Three-day cancellation policy: the hotel will charge one night's room and tax for no shows and anyone who cancels a reservation less than 3 days prior to their scheduled arrival.

Hotel parking

Discounted daily self-parking is available for $6; local commuters should see Lynn on Tuesday for discount coupons to present during payment. After parking, take the elevator from the garage directly to the 2nd floor where the Seminar Room meeting space is located. 

Discounted overnight self-parking is available for $15 and includes in/out privileges; note that you do not need a car in Salt Lake City. The hotel is accessible via public transportation and within walking distance of dozens of restaurants.

Airports and ground transportation

Fly to Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), 7 miles from the Hilton Salt Lake City Center.

TRAX Green Line Light Rail provides service to downtown Salt Lake City for $2.50. Trains run every 15 minutes during peak weekday hours and every 30 minutes after 7pm and on weekends. More information is available on the SLC website and the TRAX website, including how to purchase tickets from a station vending machine.
The airport TRAX station is on the ground level on the east side of the terminal; exit the main terminal building out of door 1A and walk a little further east. Ride TRAX to the Gallivan Plaza stop (9th stop; 23 minutes). Walk south to 300 South and turn right; proceed one block to West temple and turn right; the Hilton will be on your right.
Taxi and ride sharing services (Uber, Lyft) are available; prices vary. More information about ground transportation is available on the airport's website.
